Known as one of the top Trophy Bass lakes in the nation, Rodman Reservoir is a fish factory. A reservoir created in 1969 , Rodman is currenty in a draw - down situation. The water level is drawn down 8 ft. below normal pool. Fish are now concentrated with the catching being easy. Water levels will remain low till March 1 when rains will start to fill again.

• Bass fishing features include stumps, standing timber (cypress trees), old Oklawaha river channel, reeds, lily pads, areas where hydrilla typically comes back.
