Beautiful Nubanusit Lake is a small lake on the border between Cheshire and Hillsborough Counties in southwestern New Hampshire between the towns of Hancock and Nelson. The Nubanusit Brook is the outlet for the lake to the Coontoocook River.  Tiny Spoonwood Lake joins Nubanusit at the Spoonwood Dam on the northwest end of the Nubanusit.  The primary gamefish are Landlocked Salmon, Trout, Smallmouth Bass, Pickerel, and Yellow Perch.
